Janet Reno on CD

Well not exactly, but she is the executive producer of the 3 CD set. I know it doesn't have anything to do with Carbondale but I thought it was bizarre enough to warrant posting.

Weird Egypt

Finished rereading Jim Jung's Weird Egypt: The Case for Supernatural Geology. Available at Rosetta Stone Bookstore, it's a good memorial to a life lived well. I never had the pleasure of meeting the man but from from what I've read in the book and his columns in the Carbondale Times, I'm sure I would have enjoyed talking with him.

Most Depressing Day of the Year!

According to Dr. Cliff Arnell, a British psychologist, his research shows yesterday was the most depressing day of the year. So if you made it through yesterday, things should only improve.
