I've been told by one parent with a child in the Murphysboro athletic program, that, when Coach Murphy isn't busy violating IHSA rules, he screams at the players, even those he's not coaching and has thrown a chair or four. Too bad such behavior isn't getting the team better than a 5-4 record.
