DE Blog
The DE has quietly launched a blog of its own. There are a couple of interesting posts already, one from Sheila Simon about her experiences at the recent Democratic convention and the transcript of the DE interview with Chancellor Goldman about the Simon affair.

I read the transcript of the chancellor's remarks.
I have a question for him -- was there a fair and logical basis for banning Simon from campus prior to all this due process being carried out? (assuming that Simon was, in fact, so banned as has been reported)
The moderator of this blog has correctly stated that after a prominent, long-time faculty member is banned from campus you have to assume that word of such an action will get out to the public.
