Still Hanging
According to this article in today's DE, Chancellor Trevino is still hanging in there disputing the charges/claims made against hem, which are still being kept on the QT. According to the article, due to privacy laws, the public may never know what the reasons were for putting Trevino on leave.

There's nothing secret about it. Trevino has been AWOL for much of the time he's had the job. He spends a great deal of time back in Texas, extending his stays to 3 or 4 day weekends. He has canceled numerous meetings with campus constituency groups. He has not responded to many, many, emails.
Essentially, he is simply not in attendance, and when he is around he's not doing his job.
