Campus Protest
About 120 people showed up last Friday in the Free Forum area on campus to protest the war and call for a pullout of the troops now. Not exactly a groundswell of support. Apparently there are also people protesting the war on a regular basis down at the Federal Building. Who knew? Not me.

At least the University is allowing people to use the free forum area now.
Remember back in '04 when Marc Torney was almost expelled for protesting there without SIU's approval?
Things have at least improved in that respect since that embarrassing spring. The cartoons and editorials in the campus newspaper I remember were pretty effective.
