Good Job!
It's a week late but I wanted to compliment the C'dale Department of Public Works. The IDOT scheduled some sewer work for May 8th on S. Illinois between Stix and El Greco. This meant digging a trench a good six feet wide and shutting down traffic there in the middle of finals week and just before students baled out of town for the summer. I was really expecting major traffic problems.
To their credit, the Dept of Public Works started work about 6 p.m. on Tuesday, worked all night and had the trench refilled and the street opened by 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, with only a little hitch in traffic. Nice work!
